Senior Advisor

Ron has more than thirty years of experience in the progressively challenging investment real estate industry, including over twenty (20) years in the multi-family property management and development business. Ron was primarily responsible for as many as 5,000 apartments on up to 20 sites at any given time, with locations throughout the eastern United States.


Prior to joining Equity Development Group, Ron was the Senior Vice President of Development with Williams Realty Group. His scope of work included all facets of retail shopping center development, from site selection, contract negotiation, entitlement to design coordination, construction coordination, zoning and governmental affairs.


Before Williams, Ron worked as a Leasing Representative and Director of Business Development for more than 10 years with Skinner and Broadbent (now known as The Broadbent Company). Ron was responsible for third party business development and brokerage opportunities for the company. In addition, Ron worked with the City of Indianapolis in securing the management, leasing and construction contracts for the turnaround of historic Union Station in downtown Indianapolis.


While Ron worked with other respective companies, he founded and maintained Equity Resource Corporation to perform real estate feasibility studies, market analysis and development services for shopping centers, multifamily projects, and retirement centers. With two partners, Ron was instrumental in the development of more than $20,000,000 in new real estate developments with projects ranging from the mixed use project, Canal Overlook Apartment in downtown Indianapolis, Crooked Creek Retail Center, and the development of five “Big Bin” self storage facilities.
