John is a Senior Advisor of the Retail Advisory Team specializing in representing his clients with their multi-unit market penetration, land acquisition, and site development requirements. He has extensive experience in corporate real estate management and restaurant real estate development. John spent 20 years with Indianapolis-based Steak n Shake, Inc. developing over 150 new restaurant locations. Market prioritization and penetration strategy, site selection, contract negotiation, layout design, municipal approvals, site acquisition, sale leaseback transactions and disposition on closed units are his areas of expertise. He also served as Manager of Real Estate for Hardee's Restaurants and buyer of right-of-way for the city of Indianapolis Department of Transportation. John gives his clients remarkable insight and a value added approach because of his diverse real estate background.
