Professional Experience
Greg Smith joined Resource Commercial Real Estate in September 2008 as an Advisor to the Resource Retail Team. Prior to joining Resource, he was a Burger King® franchisee, owning and operating 23 Burger King® restaurants in multiple states. Greg located viable new sites, coordinated all development efforts, and structured financing for each of his new locations. The success of his restaurants prompted Burger King® Corporation, Heartland Food Corporation, and Liberty Restaurant Group to buy back his entire restaurant portfolio in 2005. Greg has worked for and with the Burger King Corporation, as both a franchisee and as a Corporate Franchise District Manager, Corporate District Manager, Training Manager and Restaurant Manager.
