David has been involved in real estate from either a business or legal standpoint since 1991.

In the spring of 2005, David and five other partners founded RESOURCE Commercial Real Estate, LLC. The founding Principals have a combined commercial real estate experience of over 100 years.

Prior to helping to found RESOURCE, David was the head of legal leasing for the Community Centers division of Simon Property Group, the largest retail developer in the world, where he drafted and negotiated almost 1,000 leases comprising more than 4,000,000 square feet of retail space. In 2005 alone, David led lease negotiations for over $500 million of new development.

Before Simon, David worked as corporate counsel for Duke Realty Investments, the largest office and industrial developer in the United States where he was responsible for all legal development and leasing for Duke’s largest and most profitable Industrial portfolio. Prior to joining Duke, David helped lease and develop shopping centers throughout the United States while working as a leasing agent, developer and attorney for Sandor Development Company. At Sandor, David leased space, analyzed and negotiated potential development sites in different markets, and worked with municipalities on planning different developments.
