Professional Experience
Tom entered the commercial real estate business in 1983 as an associate with Coldwell Banker Commercial (currently CB Richard Ellis). During this period, Tom worked closely with two of his current partners, Sam Smith and R.J. Rudolph. After seven years as one of CB’s leading producers Tom joined his family’s real estate business, AHM Graves Company, Inc.

For the next seven years, Tom worked closely with his father and managed Graves' commercial and residential divisions. In 1997, Tom became president of Graves, and he and his father sold its residential division to FC Tucker leaving the firm’s sole focus on commercial sales and leasing.

For the next eight years, Tom and his team were very successful representing well known corporate clients such as National City Bank, Best Buy, Forum Credit Union, Mike’s Express Carwash, Progressive Insurance Company, to name a few. The quality of their service resulted in repeat business with these and many other satisfied clients.

In the spring of 2005, Tom and five other partners founded RESOURCE Commercial Real Estate, LLC. The six founding principals have combined commercial real estate experience of over 110 years.

Tom earned the SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designation in 1990 and recently served as president of the SIOR Indiana/Kentucky Chapter. Tom is a graduate of Indiana University with a BS degree in Business Marketing. Tom is also a member of NAR, IAR and ICBR.
